Anywho, since it’s Friday and we are partying all day long and the U.S. World Cup team was playing this morning we thought we’d jump in on the World Cup party with this “official” World Cup song (there sure are a lot of “official” World Cup songs out there) from Shakira.
for this song I think she sat down in a room by herself (because she didn’t want to be disturbed during her art making) and thought about the perfect name for a song. Then, after finding that perfect name for this football anthem, she threw it away and decided to go with the dumbest song name – “Waka Waka (This Time for Africa).”
But whatever, I’m not a song writing expert.
