Duran Duran forever!

I thought the video was cool. I’m not a big Duran Duran fan but the video is cool the girls are hot and those guys stil look pretty good for their age. So it was a good 9 mins of my time.

The song is really good, too bad you don’t hear much of it in this video.
The video itself is great, classic Duran Duran.
I’d much rather watch this for 9 minutes that read 9 seconds of J. Allens opinion of this video.

Who the hell are YOU to tell ME or anyone else what does or doesn’t deserve nine minutes of our time?

It’s fine to have your own opinion, but don’t push your shitty opinion on everyone as if it’s fact.

Go back to watching your documentaries about death-metal and shut the fuck up.

Today I learned a very valuable lesson. If you want to drive traffic to your site, kinda but not really talk crap about Duran Duran.

I am sorry your ADD is getting in the way of your enjoyment of this amazing video. I have watched it several times and find something new to love about it with each viewing. The song itself is amazing, as I would expect from Duran Duran. The visuals are just captivating and enticing. This whole video is just sexy as all fuck. I am with Dan on this one. The video is far more interesting than your negativity.

I think your missing the whole point of the video, its a send up of the band, who are still going strong after 30 years, when most death metal bands will be either spoon fed or will have run out of ideas. Duran Duran continue to create and inspire, and lets face it, who else could possibly get away with so many famous faces in nine relatively short minutes. Relax a little, enjoy the video no one quite makes them like duran duran anymore, and I get the point that you say it isn’t a bad song, but some of us are happy to spend nine minutes watching this!!

Trust me when I say that there are a lot more than 5 Duran Duran fans out there, which you would know if you did any proper research, because their last tour was one of the biggest money making tours of the year. I am sorry you have no taste, but you don’t have to be a complete dick.

@ stephDmode – really? Making jokes about age when you are obviously a Depeche Mode fan? We are all in the same range sweetheart, so cool it. And you are living under a rock if you really don’t know just how devoted a following Duran Duran has, and how large a following as well. They still pack venues around the globe and attract fans of all ages. Many newer fans are still in their teens and that demographic is growing daily. Also, a lot of men are finally realizing they no longer need to be closeted fans and are coming to the shows in larger numbers than ever before. Musicians in many popular current bands cite them as an influence. There are too many websites devoted to them to count and they are all around the world in many languages. Just keep that in mind before you cast aspersions.

I’m sorry that you don’t get it. You are certainly entitled to you opinion. However, from the perspective of a hard-core DD fan, this video is brilliant! I have been anxiously awaiting this video since I heard the song nearly a year ago and I am not disappointed.
The video is beautifully filmed. The music artistically fades in and out at all the right moments. The concept is genius. Those of us who know the band so well, know that it is an accurate depiction of their lives and personalities. The fact that they have a sense of humor about themselves is what makes it endearing. And I must say that I am very impressed with how accurately each model plays their role.

I will gladly spend nine minutes to watch this over and over again, because it gets better every time.
