Taylor Swift and the Civil War
I was ready to hate on this. I was. I’ll admit it. A link to this song, from Taylor Swift and Civil Wars, came through and I read it and thought to myself “well, that will suck. Can’t wait to rip that to shreds.” And when I further learned that the song is from the upcoming “Hunger Games” movie I was even more ready to get my hate on. Well… funny story; the song is actually pretty good. And the video is actually really kinda great. Both the song and the video are quite simple and understated but they both work really really well.
