So today I was looking at the internet, because I hate my job, and I came across this (the one above) picture. Yeah, that’s AFI. Remember AFI? In case you don’t, here’s what they looked like a mere 3 years ago.

See where I’m going with this? I guess AFI stands for “A Fall-Out-Boy-Fan Inside”. I do really like the pink and purple pants though. Actually no I don’t. I liked them when I was 8 and it was 1985.

I can just imagine the marketing meeting with AFI. I bet it went a little something like this:

“Hey guys – you are guys right? Whatever. While you guys have been recording your new album the goth world changed on you. It’s a whole lot less black and brooding and a whole lot more pink and sassy. No. Yeah. It’s because of Twilight. No. It’s a book. Yeah, 12 year-old girls can’t get enough of it. Yeah. So that’s your market now. Here, take these Cobra Starship, Attack! Attack! and Fall Out Boy videos and study them because this is what the kids like these days. I know it sucks but I’ve heard your last couple albums and you gave up your integrity a long time ago so don’t worry about it. Ta ta!”
