Why, hey there, my peeps! How are you? My? Why I’m just ducky. What’s that you say? Where have I been? Umm…well…I went on a date with Chris Brown and umm…I…ahh…ran into a wall. I know!! I’m so clumsy!! But I learned my lesson…I will NEVER throw his keys…I mean, talk back…I mean, be more careful around doors and stairways…and fists. Angry fists.

But anyway…I bet you’ve all been wondering what the hell is coming your way in terms of new music this week. Well, little camper, wonder no more. Here is your somewhat definitive list!

Artist / Title

Ace Enders & A Million Different People / When I Hit The Ground
Arsonists Get All The Girls / Hits From the Bow & Game of Life (2xLP)
Billy Fury / Classics And Collectables / [2 CD]
Black Joe Lewis & The Honeybears / Tell ‘Em What Your Name Is!

From the look of every single video that I found of Black Joe Lewis and the Honeybears, they apparently DESPERATELY want to be a “late night band” for either Jimmy Kimmel…Colin Ferguson…or a Black Huey Lewis and the News. Hey…can’t go wrong either way, really! Actually, though…not bad if you like a little dirty blues.

BLKTOP PROJECT / LANE CHANGE
Blue Sky Black Death / Jean Grae: Evil Jeanius Instrumentals
BoA / BoA
BONNIE PRINCE BILLY / BEWARE

I really like the sound of this guy whose real name is Will Oldham. Part James Taylor, part Sufjan Stevens, this shit is trippy, mellow-cool with a hint of swing and his voice is truly like no other. The video up there is from an older disc, but if you like that sound, I highly recommend his new one, and perhaps his best one, “Beware.”

Buoy LaRue / Spin Out Of This
Celldweller / Soundtrack For The Voices In My Head Vol. 01
Chris Tsefalas / Follow The Sun
CNN (Capone-N-Noreaga) / Channel 10
COBALT / GIN
David Jordan / Set The Mood
DECEMBERISTS, THE / HAZARDS OF LOVE, THE

Ahhh, Colin Meloy…you stud. You managed to cobble together yet another melancholy dabbling into indie folk and I must say, you nailed it. Of course, you didn’t nail it as much as this guy…

…but then again, who does? And I know what you are all thinking there ladies…yes, I’m ALMOST POSITIVE he’s single.

Dudu Fisher / In Concert From Israel
Dust / Radio Killer
Flo Rida / Right Round
FLOWER-CORSANO DUO / FOUR AIMS
Gabriella Cilmi / Lessons To Be Learned
Gorilla Zoe / Don’t Feed Da Animals
GZA / Genius / The Pro Tools Instrumentals

Into The Moat / The Campaign
Joy Division / Leigh Rock Festival 1979 LP
Jupiter Rising / The Quiet Hype
KID CONGO & THE PINK MONKEY BIRDS / DRACULA BOOTS
Kleveland / Harder
KYLESA / STATIC TENSIONS
Lenine / Labiata
Les Claypool / Of Fungi & Foe

New Les Claypool…if you are a fan you more than likely already own this. If you are not a fan, I hate you and I want to fight you…out by the train tracks…after school…no hair pulls and if I say “quit” we stop, k?

Lindi Ortega / The Drifter E.P.
Little Walter / The Complete Chess Masters (1950-1967) / [5 CD]
LONG LOST / LONG LOST
Lowe, Nick / Quiet Please: The New Best of Nick Lowe
Madgesdiq / I Wanna Be Free
Mandell, Eleni / Artificial Fire (2xLP)
Marianne Faithfull / Easy Come, Easy Go
Mazes / Mazes
Mick Fleetwood / Blue Again
New Morality / Fear of Nothing
New York Rifles / Make A Wish
On My Side / Grow
One Short Fall / Nothing Left To Say
One Thought Moment, The / Deaf in the Dead Zone
Paolo Conte / Psiche
plunt / plunt

God…I was going to write a witty little deal about the name of this band, but I could not, FOR THE LIFE OF ME, figure out another word that rhymes with “plunt” besides “hunt, punt and shunt.” Stoopid, fucking thesaurus.

POISON THE WELL / I / III, II / III, III / III

Reigns / The House on the Causeway
Rio en Medio / Frontier (Deluxe Edition CD)
Rory Gallagher / Live In Cork / [DVD]
Ruth Ruth / Live In Toronto
