There are BIG things coming to Music Boxer. BIG I tell you! The first of which is the addition of advertisements throughout the site. We’ve partnered with Google to post ads on the site so we can pay our bills and pay our contributors.

That’s all a good thing. Us making money will make the site better.

That said, please visit our sponsors. Often. Visit each of them every time you come to Music Boxer.

I’m plugging away on a number of other changes and I am getting ready to completely redesign the site. Good times.

In case you haven’t noticed, a couple of us here at Music Boxer now have little images by our comments. Well… that’s because we have added a plugin that connects the comments to your Gravatar account… assuming you have one.

So if you do, when you enter your email address as you leave a comment, your Gravatar will pop up right next to what you have to say.

Neat right?

We are finally getting a Twitter account set up for Music Boxer. I know… nothing like being a year late to the party.

We just posted a new column… it’s called The Upstarts and will feature new bands that kick ass.

After trying to figure out how this blogging software we use actually works… we’ve finally made a breakthrough!

On the Reviews page, if there is more than one review by the band available, there will be a link on the right side of the page to all existing reviews!

This is a cool little feature but it’s just the beginning. Now that we’ve deciphered the code, this will allow us to really make this site much more user friendly.

So yeah… welcome to the Developer’s Blog.

In case you didn’t notice, this site, this entire site is relatively new. It’s only been around for a couple months, and as that is the case, things are still very much under construction. Every time you come by (which we hope is several times a day), you may notice something is different. Don’t be scared, it’s all part of an effort to make this the best site music site on the web.

In this space I’ll discuss what changes we’ve made to the site as well as give you all a chance to voice your opinions on how the site works, looks or contains.
