"There are people in there!" - The guy in the middle

So… we’re back. Kinda. Well, I mean, we are back but we aren’t 100% back to work yet. We all have some serious vacation hangover going on so it might take a couple days for us to get back to 100% but we’ll get there. But to help us get back to it we opened our email this morning to find a link to a new Cursive song. Awesome. That is an awesome way to start a new year and a new week and a new day. Cursive is great. The album The Ugly Organ will go down as a modern classic – I’m sure of that.

The band’s new album, I Am Gemini, comes out next month but Rolling Stone has one of the new tracks streaming and available as a free download! Awesome. Awesometown. Click here to check out and download the new track “The Sun and Moon.”

You can preorder the new album (which is a concept album) over at the band’s official website if you wan to as well.

"Hi" - The guy on the right

We started the morning with a cool live performance video so let’s keep that shit going.

HearNebraska.org has posted a series of videos featuring a live performance from Cursive. The videos are awesome and Cursive is fucking awesome so there’s really no reason why you shouldn’t stop what you are doing immediately and watch. Unless you are a surgeon and in the middle of surgery. But if that’s the case what the hell are you doing reading this to begin with? Doctor, pay attention, stat!

Here’s the band performing the song “The Night I Lost the Will to Fight:”

And click here to head over to HearNebraska.org and to check out the other videos.

We are in Chicago right now so this is gonna be brief.

Tim Kasher is the lead singer of Cursive. Time Kasher has a solo album coming out at some point. Probably soon. I’m not really sure and since I’m sitting at the Cubs game I don’t feel like looking it up.

So go here to download “Cold Love.”
