If there is one thing I’ve always thought chess needed it is more sex. How boring is chess? Answer: really boring. And, as Americans, we know that the only way to make something interesting is to sex it up a bit. The people behind “Glee” know what I’m talking about.
“A bunch of high school kids singing? No thanks. What? There is a crazy strong sexual overtone and the high school kids are sexied up? I’m in,” – America.
But we aren’t here to talk about “Glee” (I’ve never seen it so it would be a short conversation anyways), we are here to talk about Manic Street Preachers’ new video for “(It’s Not War) Just the End of Love” which features two people playing chess and then sexing it up a bit.
Check it:
This video is every Chess Club member’s wet dream. Not that I would know…

The story of Manic Street Preachers is an interesting one. If you find yourself with a couple extra minutes today (it’s Friday before a holiday so that is pretty much a guarantee) you should check out the Wikipedia page. At any rate, Manic Street Preachers are getting ready to drop a new album on all our asses soon (Postcards from a Young Man on Sept. 20) and RCRDLBL has a new track from the Brits that doesn’t appear on the new album. So… it’s kinda like a free b-side I guess.
Anywho, the song is called “I’m Leaving You For Solitude” and you can download that shit right here.
Awesome. I like these guys. I have for a long time. In fact, I may just got “follow” them on that new Ping thing.
and that is the subtle way in which I have just let you all know that I and Music Boxer are on Ping.
