December sucks. For new music, I mean. Nothing ever comes out that’s worth a shit. Every once in a while something good will come out but that’s like the proverbial needle in the big pile of shit.
This week is no exception. There are a bunch of albums coming out and… yawn. That’s all I really have to say. But since we are in the business of distributing information to you related to new releases, we should at least pass on a couple full-album streams that we found so you decide for yourself whether or not we are being too critical of December and this week’s releases.
MySpace is streaming new albums from:
Flyleaf
Redman
Natasha Bedingfield
And while none of these are new, Spinner.com is streaming albums from:
Mumford and Sons
Gold Panda
Local Natives
PVT
Les Savy Fav
Danger Mouse & Sparklehorse
There are probably more so if there is something we missed feel free to add it in the comments section.

We promised you some more PVT news and here it is! We have posted a brand new review and that review is of the brand new PVT album! OK… so maybe “PVT news” isn’t exactly the most accurate thing we could have said but whatever.
Music Boxer reviewer Brian doesn’t like the new PVT album. The album is titled Church with No Magic and Brian listened to it, a lot, and ultimately decided that he didn’t like it. If you want to (and you do want to) read his review of the PVT album click here.
Also, it’s Wednesday! Hump day! So let’s all go home and hump something!

We will have more PVT news in about, oh, let’s say two hours (don’t hold me to that) but the band has a new video so today will be PVT news day. The video is for the song “Light Up Bright Fires” which is off the band’s newest album Church With No Magic.
Do you want to watch the video while we finish up the other PVT news? You should. You should watch this video so when we post the other PVT news that we have everything makes sense. Watching this video will give you a reference point. And we all need more reference points in our lives.
PVT’s video for “Light Up Bright Fires:”
Move PVT news soon… promise.

It’s (still) Friday! So I suppose that means we owe you some free music? Well, maybe “owe” is the wrong word to use there. It’s not like there is an obligation or contract to provide all you guys with free music every Friday. It’s just something that we’ve promised you and we try very hard to keep our promises around here – unlike other people. You know who you are!
So this week we have a new single from the Australian band PVT. PVT used to be called Pivot but then some asshole band from the U.S. also named Pivot threatened to sue the Aussies so the Aussies changed their name to PVT. Fuckin’ asshole Americans. Always forcing people to change their name.
Anywho, You can download the song “Window,” from the band’s new album Church With No Magic album, right here.
And if you’d rather hear the song before downloading than… you are in luck because here is the band’s video for the very same song! Yay!
Hooray for free music!
