"Synths" - These guys

Let’s get this shit started today with a little bounce for our booty. You know what I’m sayin’? Enough “fire is ruining everything” and “oil is ruining everything” and “war is ruining everything” and “the economy is ruining everything” and “Twilight is ruining everything.” You know what I mean? You know what I mean. It’s time for the weekend!

And today we have a special treat via the Levi’s Pioneer Sessions project. Since Smashing Pumpkins are ruining everything these days, Passion Pit has stepped in to do us all a favor. Passion Pit has (again, for the Levi’s Pioneer Sessions project) covered Smashing Pumpkins “Tonight, Tonight” and it’s kinda awesome. Real awesome in fact. Here… check it out:

"Chicks" - Both these girls

So Tegan and Sara released a remix album containing 17 remixes of their song “Alligator.” That’s a lot of remixes of a single song. Personally, I think five would have been more than enough but what do I know? I’m not a remix album expert. In fact, I can honestly say that I don’t a single remix album.

But I’m sure there are people out there that totally get off on remixes and for those people Tegan and Sara have just released an album of 17 remixes of their song “Alligator.” There’s even a video for one of the remixes.

Yup. That’s exactly the video I expected to see for a remix. Now I have to close my eyes for a bit and hope this headache goes away.
