I realize the headline to this article says “Philly Edition” but really, the only reason it’s the “Philly Edition” is because, as I mentioned earlier this morning, I am sitting in Philly. But where I am has no importance to the world of music and has even less impact on the fact that there are a ton of albums being streamed online, for free, right now. Here’s a rundown of what I was able to find.
NPR is streaming new albums from:
Stephen Malkmus And The Jicks
Muppets: The Green Album
Beirut
Spinner.com is streaming new albums from:
Jeff Bridges (seriously)
Tim Kasher
Hotel Lights
Hercules & Love Affair
… and many, many more
And Stephin Merritt’s new album is streaming over at Paste Magazine.
I’m sure there are more so if you know of any, feel free to post them in the comments below.

The video for Tim Kasher’s “Cold Love” is kinda gross. It’s not like, Jackass gross but it’s pretty gross.
The video features a lot of passive aggressive behavior on the part of two lovers who aren’t really feeling the love anymore. That “not feeling the love” anymore translates to them punking (not the right word but it will do) each other in gross ways.
Tim Kasher’s “Cold Love:”
They should not do that stuff to each other. One of them is going to get Dysentery.

We are in Chicago right now so this is gonna be brief.
Tim Kasher is the lead singer of Cursive. Time Kasher has a solo album coming out at some point. Probably soon. I’m not really sure and since I’m sitting at the Cubs game I don’t feel like looking it up.
So go here to download “Cold Love.”
